Amelia Kerr set a new record for the most wickets in a single edition of the Women’s T20 World Cup, taking 15 wickets in six matches during the 2024 tournament. Her exceptional performance was pivotal in leading New Zealand to victory, as they clinched the title by defeating South Africa by 32 runs in the final on October 20 at the Dubai International Stadium.

After being asked to bat first, the White Ferns posted 158/5, with Kerr contributing a crucial 43 runs. Brooke Halliday also played a vital role, scoring 38 off 28 balls.
