The Boston Bruins are gearing up to start the hockey season.
Last season, the Bruins were eliminated from the Stanley Cup Playoffs by the Florida Panthers with a 2-1 loss in Game 6. The Panthers went on to win the Stanley Cup. What’s more frustrating was the fact that the Panthers eliminated the Bruins from the playoffs the year prior as well.

The Bruins begin their preseason this weekend. But when is the first regular season game this year? Where can it be watched, or heard? How much are tickets?
The Bruins’ preseason starts this Sunday, Sept. 22 against the New York Rangers at 5 p.m. at TD Garden. They will face off against the Washington Capitals on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. at home. And on Oct. 1 at 7 p.m., the Bruins will play the Philadelphia Flyers at home.
The Bruins first game of the season is Oct. 8 at 7 p.m. against the Florida Panthers at Amerant Bank Arena.
The season opener for the Boston Bruins at TD Garden is Thursday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. against the Montreal Canadiens. Tickets for this game, according to Ticketmaster, start at $150.
